Bioclan Oral Suspension by Savavet is an antibiotic formulation containing Clindamycin Hydrochloride at a concentration of 25 mg/ml. It is designed to combat various bacterial infections in both dogs and cats. Indications: In cats, Bioclan is utilized for: • Toxoplasmosis: An infection caused by the parasite Toxoplasma gondii • Respiratory Infections: Such as those affecting the upper respiratory tract In dogs, it addresses: • Dental Infections: Including infected oral cavities • Wounds and Abscesses: To manage and treat bacterial infections in soft tissues. • Osteomyelitis: An infection of the bone or bone marrow. • Superficial Pyoderma: A bacterial skin infection • Respiratory Tract Infections: Such as those affecting the upper respiratory tract. For cats, the recommended dosages are: • General Infections: 5 mg/kg twice daily or 10 mg/kg once daily. • Toxoplasmosis: 25 mg/kg every day for 7-10 days • Oral Solution: 1-3 ml per 2.5 kg body weight, administered twice daily For dogs, the recommended dosages are: • Dental Infections: 11 mg/kg every day for 7 to 10 days. • Osteomyelitis: 11 mg/kg every 12 hours for 28 days. • Oral Solution: Initial dose of 4 drops/kg body weight, followed by a maintenance dose of 2 drops/kg body weight.
